I know what training, mindset, equipment, performance measures and commitment are required to achieve your goals.

In March 2014, I completed my first triathlon. Prior to this I had not ridden a bike or swam since primary school and I had never run more than a few kilometers without stopping my entire life. Throughout the rest of 2014 I did several other triathlons, lost 44kgs (97lbs), quit smoking and completely turned my life around.
I had an incredible progression in the sport. I finished 252nd in that first sprint distance triathlon in 2014, finished 3rd in my age group at my second ever 70.3 in 2015 and later that year I also did my first Ironman where I won my age group, qualified for, then competed at Kona 6 weeks later. As an amateur athlete between 2014 and 2017, I was a regular winner and podium finisher in my category across all distances from Sprint to Ironman. In just my first three years in the sport I had already raced at the Ironman World Championships (Kona) twice.
In late 2017, I decided to turn professional after meeting the criteria by winning the overall AG race at a 70.3 that year. During my professional career I was a 2x podium finisher at the Ironman Distance and achieved over 5 podium finishes at the 70.3 distance. I qualified and competed at the Ironman World Championships in 2021 & 2022 (my best result 14th place in 2021). I regularly broke bike course records over the full distance and in 2023 I recorded the 3rd fastest iron distance bike split in history (which still stands today).
In 2024 I made the decision to retire and pursue my new passion - coaching.
I have a very wide range of personal experience that I have gained over the past 10 years. From starting out as a complete beginner, losing weight, training and racing as a beginner through to an elite age grouper while also balancing full time work, transitioning from age group to pro racing and finally, competing as a professional at the very highest level. I know what training, mindset, equipment, performance measures and commitment are required to achieve your goals in any of the above categories.
